About

NULU MUSIC

Nulu Music “Nothing Ultimately Leaves Us” was founded in New York in 2009 by Anané: Artist, DJ, Singer, Songwriter, Producer, and Philanthropist. In a male-dominated industry, she carved out her own lane and built a label that wasn’t afraid to take risks. From day one, Nulu pushed boundaries, pioneering the Afro House and Afro Tech sound long before it became a global movement.

The label is raw, vibrant, and fearless…fusing ancestral chants, rhythms, and African melodies with electronic grit to create music that hits the dance floor and the spirit at the same time. More than a catalog, Nulu is a statement: that culture, individuality, and freedom come before trends.

As one of the few women leading an influential imprint in dance music, Anané turned Nulu into a symbol of resilience and vision, proof that independence doesn’t mean compromise. Over a decade later, the label continues to discover new voices, amplify cultural stories, and move crowds across continents.

“Having the freedom to build this label on my own terms, without conforming, is my greatest statement. Nulu is proof that independence can be powerful.”

NULU ELECTRONIC

Nulu Electronic is the underground division of Nulu, founded in New York in 2012 by Anané… Artist, DJ, Singer, Songwriter, Producer, and Philanthropist. If Nulu carved out the global sound of Afro House, Nulu Electronic exists to push the edges of electronic music itself. More than a genre, it’s a container for deep exploration, where Afro Tech, House, Deep House, Tech House, and Techno collide without boundaries.

Woman-led in a world still dominated by men, the label is a fearless space for innovation. Nulu Electronic champions individuality, offering artists the freedom to experiment, cross-pollinate influences, and create music that feels raw, hypnotic, and forward-thinking. It’s not about trends, it’s about the next wave.

Anané brings her decades of personal and professional experience into every release, leading by example and proving that independence is power.

For me, electronic music has no walls it’s a place where culture, sound, and freedom converge. Nulu Electronic is the proof that future and roots can move as one.”

NULU MOVEMENT

Nulu Movement was born in New York, created by Anané… Artist, DJ, Singer, Songwriter, Producer, and Philanthropist, as the party brand of her labels Nulu Music and Nulu Electronic. What started as a monthly residency at Le Bain quickly became more than just an event: it became a movement. A space where musical freedom reigns, where genres collide, and where the dance floor transforms into a community of energy, culture, and connection.

At the helm are Anané & Christian Mantini, resident DJs and curators of the Nulu Movement sound. Together, they bring a dynamic balance: Anané, one of the few women to pioneer Afro House on a global stage, and Christian, a seasoned tastemaker with deep roots in electronic music. Their combined vision and versatility fuel a night where Afro-rooted rhythms, deep grooves, and underground textures meet in unexpected ways.

In 2026, Nulu Movement celebrates 10 years, a major feat in the ever-changing landscape of NYC nightlife. Its longevity proves that authenticity, cultural diversity, and fearless vision can stand the test of time.

More than a party, Nulu Movement is a statement: woman-led, globally inspired, and unapologetically original. It’s about freedom of expression, breaking barriers, and creating atmospheres where people from around the world come together as one.
“Nulu Movement is where freedom lives, on the decks, on the dance floor, in the music. It’s not just a party, it’s a journey we take together.”
